ZTE Temp Go is the latest Android Oreo Go Edition Phone launched at MWC Spain

The Android Go phone lineup was long time expected and it’s only now that the first smartphones with Android Oreo Go edition are now launched. The Nokia 1 and ZTE Temp Go takes the pride to be the first Android Go phones.

ZTE has announced the ZTE Temp Go smartphone at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018) held in Barcelona, Spain. It happens to be the first Go Edition phone from the house of ZTE.

The Google Android Oreo Go Edition is an operating system that is trimmed down to native Android OS version. They are optimized for low-end smartphones.

Going through the ZTE Temp Go specs, the phone comes with a 5-inch 854 x 480 pixels FWVGA IPS display and includes 5 mega pixel rear camera with LED flash and 2 mega pixel front facing camera.

Under the hood, the latest ZTE Oreo Go edition phone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 chipset clocked at 1.1 Ghz and includes 1 GB of RAM with 8 GB inbuilt memory.

It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Go edition out of the box and it’s backed a 2200 mAh battery. Sadly it misses out quick charging facility.

While the Nokia 1 is priced at $85, the ZTE Temp Go price is set to $79.99 and will be available in grey color model only. The phone will be available through company’s website and no other details of availability were mentioned.

These Android Go edition phones are truly made for growing countries like Nigeria, Bangladesh, Sudan and other Asian and African countries. Apart from that, it will be also available in China, India where the volume games play a big role.
