Xiaomi Black Shark, a gaming Smartphone teased with Snapdragon 845 & 8 GB RAM

After the success of Razer phone as a true gaming smartphone, Xiaomi has planned to do something similar. Xiaomi could be preparing for first ever ‘Xiaomi Gaming Smartphone’ as ‘Black Shark’ a mysterious device has been teased. It has now received an official account on Weibo.

Xiaomi is a prime investor in Black Shark, a mobile gaming company based of China. This official account confirms that the partnership in between these two companies might result in Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone series and the first one could be out soon.

As we clearly see in the teaser, Black Shark and Qualcomm logo are visible. A gaming dedicated smartphone could expand Xiaomi reach in the smartphone market after they have already bagged the top spot in the entry-level, and mid-range markets.

The Xiaomi Black Shark will feature top-notch specifications comprising of Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset, if not the latest chipset by the maker.

As listed on AnTuTu, Black Shark smartphone will feature a full HD+ display and with 2160 x 1080 pixels full HD resolution with popular 18:9 display aspect ratio. It will includes 32 GB inbuilt storage and GeekBench listing confirmed that the device will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo based MIUI 9.5 with 8 GB of RAM.

It’s unclear when the Xiaomi Black Shark smartphone will be available in the market but most probably it will be out before Christmas 2018.
