The payment can be made through UPI( Unified Payment Interface) based payment service for Whatsapp for Android beta as well as iOS users.

Select your bank from the 70 list of banks and create a UPI account if you don’t have one. If you already have a UPI account you need to verify it with SMS. Then you need to link up your WhatsApp number with bank accounts.
Select the person you need to send money and enter the UPI pin and the amount you need to transfer. This process will only take few seconds and the transfer will be completed in no time.
