ZTE unveils Nubia M2 Play with Android Nougat & Snapdragon 435 SoC Launched

ZTE sub-brand Nubia has launched yet another variant of M2 smartphone. Dubbed as Nubia M2 Play it will go on for sale in India very soon.

In terms of Nubia M2 specifications, it has a 5.5-inch LCD display with 1280 x 720 pixel HD resolution providing 274 PPI pixel density. Under the hood, it’s powered by an Octa-Core 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Mobile Platform coupled with 3 GB of RAM and Adreno 505 GPU.

In terms of design, it’s more or less similar to Nubia M2 and M2 Lite. There is a Home button with signature Nubia red icon which also integrates fingerprint scanner.

Nubia M2 Play is a dual SIM device (hybrid) and supports 4G VoLTE on both slots. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS with Nubia UI 5.0 on top and features a 13 megapixel hybrid autofocus camera with Sony CMOS sensor, NeoVision 6.0 and f/2.2 aperture. There is 5 megapixel front camera with 84-degree wide angle shooter and f/2.4 aperture for selfies and video calls.

Just like all the Nubia M2 variants it has a micro SD card slot supporting storage up to 32 GB size and includes connectivity options like Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac dual band, Wi-Fi tether, Wi-Fi Direct, Bluetooth v4.1, micro USB 2.0 port, A-GPS with GLONASS, 3.5 mm headphone jack and micro SD card support (uses SIM 2) up to 128 GB in size.

It’s powered by a 3000 mAh Lithium Polymer battery and includes features DTS Surround Sound for music enthusiasts.

It will be available in two color options – Gold and Black. No words have been said on its price and availability yet.
