ZTE Blade X Oreo update

Are you excited about the new Android Oreo update? If yes, then you would be wanting that update to arrive on your device as soon as possible. ZTE Blade X was launched recently in the United States and it’s available through Cricket Wireless, the prepaid carrier. The device is priced at $119.99 and runs on the latest Android 7.1.1 Nougat operating system version out of the box. Before Android 8.0 was announced the 7.1.1 was the latest version of Google mobile operating system but now it’s Android Oreo. It’s an incremental update after the Nougat was announced during quarter last year.

The ZTE Blade X qualifies to receive the Android 8.0 Oreo update and it will be arriving officially. That means you will not have to depend on any custom ROM/firmware to get the latest build of software on your device. It should be a happy news for the ZTE Blade X smartphone owners.

Talking about the ZTE Blade X Oreo update availability, it should happen by early next year. No chance that it will happen this year. It will be a major update to the device.

ZTE and Cricket Wireless will notify of the software availability through a notification onto the device itself. You can even force check for the update availability by going to Settings > About Device > Software update tab.
