After canceling Redmi Pro 2 smartphone, Xiaomi is back into rumors game once again as they have planned to launch 'Xiaomi X1'. It's completely a new device, expected in all new 'X Series'. According to Weibo, the device will be launch in the last week of July 2017, i.e., by the end of the month.
According to leak source, the Xiaomi X1 is expected to arrive in two different models - one with a standard display panel and other with a bezel-less display.
The Xiaomi X1 is expected to be available in two different variants altogether. In terms of specifications, the bezel-less variant is expected to arrive with 5.5-inch display with 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Mobile Platform. Once again, the Chinese smartphone maker would like to make this device available in two different variants - one with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB built-in memory and other with 6 GB RAM and 128 GB inbuilt memory. The former is priced at $294 while the, later one will be up for grab at $368.
The bezel-less X1 will be available in two iteration - 6 GB RAM with 64 GB of storage costing CNY 2,299 ($339 USD) and 6 GB RAM with 128 GB storage for CNY 2,799 ($412 USD).
In terms of optics, Xiaomi will go with dual rear camera assembly featuring Sony IMX386 and IMX362 image sensor. It will have a fingerprint sensor unit on the back and will have a standard 3.5 mm headphone jack port.
Xiaomi X1 release date is concerned, after an announcement at the end of the month, it will be available for purchase in the first week of August in China. It will be also available in India by the end of the year.
