Xiaomi, the roaring Chinese smartphone giant has sent out the press invitation for an event on May 31 and it's 100% the Xiaomi Mi 8 launch event that will happen in Shenzhen.
The Xiaomi Shenzhen team is gearing up for an excitement in the air as the invitation speaks all things loud with a big number "8" written on the invitation. This is possibly the Xiaomi Mi 8 or it has something to do with the Xiaomi's 8th year anniversary. So there is no Mi 7 phone this time or never.
Not much information about the Xiaomi Mi 8 was released on the May 31 launch teaser. The device was today morning got through the 3C listing and was cleared by FCC too. As revealed in the recent leaks, the device will be sold in three variants of 5V/3A, 9V/2A, and 12V/1.5A charging.

According to Yogesh Khetani web portal, that reveals the Xiaomi Mi 8 Specs, the latest Xiaomi phone comprises of 5.7-inch 2280 x 1080 pixels display with 18:9 aspect ratio with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.
Under the hood, it will be definitely powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 chipset with availability in different RAM and storage models of 6 GB RAM with 64/128 GB storage and 4 GB RAM model with 64 GB storage.
For sure in terms of optics, it will adopt dual camera setup, just like it's predecessor Mi 6 and a decent front-facing camera.
