A mysterious Xiaomi phone with code name as “Jason” crossed the GFXBench in the month of May 2017 and there is now news about this new although it’s a three months old news now. Looks like long rumored Xiaomi Jason will be launched in the as Xiaomi Mi 6C.
Just like previous generation of Mi C phones, Mi 6C is definitely a trimmed version of Xiaomi Mi 6.
In terms of Xiaomi Mi 6C Specifications, we have the device with a 5.1 inch full HD (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. Just like it’s big brother it’s expected to be a power-house with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 Octa core chipset clocked at 2.2 GHz and coupled with Adreno 512 GPU and 6 GB of RAM. So, there is no compromise in terms of hardware.
The device is boosted by a 12 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel front facing camera. Now’s that really a trimmed down specs of a flagship device and no there is no dual camera setup this time.
The GFXBench listing says that the device runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat of the box and will be among the prime Xiaomi Mi phones to get the Android 8.0 aka the Android Oreo update. That’s all we know about the device.
And it’s quite to easy to guess on the device price – The Mi 6C Price is expected to be around CNY 2499 in China and around Rs 19,999 while it arrives in India.
