Wiko View XL

Wiko, a French smartphone company has announced a new smartphone at IFA 2017 at Berlin, Germany. Dubbed as Wiko View XL, the device is available for hands-on at Wiko IFA booth.

Wiko View XL is a dedicated selfie phone and according to official Wiko View XL Specification, the phone sports a 5.99 inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio following success with Galaxy S8 and other manufacturers. The screen resolution was found to be 1440 x 720 pixels HD+.

Under the hood, it’s powered by a Quad core Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 Mobile Platform clocked at 1.4 GHz and coupled with 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of storage. The storage can be expanded up to 128 GB, thanks to a dedicated micro SD card slot present on the device.

It’s a dual SIM handset and you can access the slots by opening the rear cover of the device.

The phone implements a 13 mega pixel camera on the rear side and definitely the USP happens to be the 16 mega pixel front camera. Both cameras are supported with a LED flash to take low light photos and videos. The Super Pixel Mode allows you to capture images up to 52 MP.

It houses a 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 7.1 Nougat out of the box and among other connectivity options we have Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi tether, Bluetooth v4.0, NFC, USB Type-C port, aGPS with GLONASS.

Wiko View XL Price is kept at 229 Euros and will be available in wide range of colors.

At IFA, Wiko also unveiled three new phones – one is the Wiko View XL, others are – Wiko View, a smaller version of XL phone and Wiko View Prime.

And at IFA event, LG unveiled LG V30, Sony unveiled three new phones named as XZ1 , XZ1 Compact and XA1 Plus. Samsung remained to be silent because they couple of days back unveiled the Galaxy Note 8 phone.
