iOS users have something interesting from Whatsapp with latest update. New features for the users of iOS around the world has been introduced by Whatsapp. There are three new features rolled out as a part of version 2.17.30 by the app.

Through this feature, an album view is possible when you send a collection of five photos together, or even more, including the videos. It is exclusively for the the iOS users. You have to just tap on the album or videos to see it in the full screen mode. The album will be displayed with the title to it.

It is a very good option for the Indian market, given the fact that Indian audience love to share photos related to even the short-term events, whereby this feature makes it easy for them to do so. It is an amazing feature which drives the user to be comfortable to share pictures without the heap of photos shared in a line.

Again, GIFs, photos and videos can be filtered inside the camera itself for iOS users. The photo when selected will give you an option to select the filters. A simple swipe allows you to choose the filters.

The filters from which you can choose are pop, black and white, cool, chrome and film.This is one of the best features for iOS users. It also saves time in sharing pictures and videos.

This upgrade has made replying to messages, especially in group chats easy, wherein, you can just swipe at the individual message and respond. It has also added forward message shortcut, next to ‘messages’.

The stats say – Whatsapp is used by close to 200 million users in India. The report presented by Mary Meeker stated that Whatsapp is the most downloaded app in India.

It is found that each day 50 billion messages are sent through this app along with 3.3 billion photos being sent. Again 760 million videos and 80 million GIFs are in the list.

The new features are available for iOS as of now. Hopefully, Android also would be having similar features in the new future.
