Before Vivo announces Vivo V9 and Vivo V9 Plus smartphones in India for the Indian Premier League 2018, the Chinese smartphone giant is likely to announce Vivo X21 smartphone on March 19. Vivo has seen sending invites for the announcement of X21 smartphone in wake of Fifa World Cup 2018 in Russia.
Going by the naming terminology, the Vivo X21 happens to be the successor of Vivo X20 smartphone launched in September last year. It might be the world's second smartphone with a long rumored in-fingerprint sensor after X20 Plus UD had this feature explained.
The Vivo X21 teaser shows minimal bezels and the Chinese OEM has partnered with Qualcomm for the chipset. It's still not yet confirmed whether it will be Snapdragon 660 SoC or will it have the Snapdragon 845, a chipset which powers almost all the flagship phones in 2018.
Vivo has also partnered with JBL, A-Maps and several others brands to bring in-phone entertainment on the device itself. It will be running on the latest Android 8.0 Oreo version out of the box and will be known for better selfies and photos.
This is not the first time that we hear about the Vivo X21 smartphone as the device was leaked long time back showing up a dual camera setup, arranged vertically. We will learn more about the X21 smartphone in coming days and ahead of the official the official launch.
