Vivo Mobiles has unveiled their next generation selfie smartphone as Vivo V9 smartphone goes official in India and other South Asian countries like Thailand and Philippines. It mocks iPhone X with metal frame and curved glass on the rear side.
Coming to the Vivo V9 specifications, the phone is exactly similar to newly launched Vivo X21. It sports a 6.3 inch edge to edge full HD+ display with a resolution of 2280 x 1080 pixels and has 19:9 display aspect ratio. The Full View Display comes with 90% screen to body ratio with a bezel measuring just 1.75 mm.
Under the hood, it's powered by latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 626 chipset build on 14nm architecture with Octa core processor. It's coupled with 4 GB of RAM, 64 GB of inbuilt storage and Adreno 506 takes care of the GPU processing. Internal storage can be expanded up to 256 GB using a microSD card.
Coming to the optics, the Vivo V9 selfie camera is with 24 mega pixel resolution with f/2.0 aperture supporting facial recognition. It also includes features like AI Beauty and AR stickers. On the rear we have 16 mega pixel + 5 mega pixel dual camera assembly with the same f/2.0 aperture.
The Vivo V9 will be available in Gold, Blue and Black Ceramic color. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo based FunTouch OS 4.0 out of the box and will also get the Android P update.
It's a dual Hybrid SIM smartphone with 3260 mAh non-removable battery with fast charging and usual set of connectivity options.
