The LG G Pad X 8.0 on T-Mobile is one of the famous tablets and LG is done good enough to provide utmost software support to it. T-Mobile and LG have started rolling-out April Android Security updates to the device through software version V52120n.
This April Security patch for LG GPad X 8.0 weighs around 93 MB and it’s quite surprising that it arrives ahead of many other Android devices because the device is almost two years old now.
The device was shipped with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, received the Nougat update recently but still the shadows over the Oreo update prevails.
If you have received the update notification, then proceed by tapping on it to directly download the package from the server and if you haven’t, then don’t worry, you can force check for an update manually by going through Settings > About Device > Update Center > System Updates and then tap on Check Now.
You need to connect your tablet to a Wi-Fi in order to download the updates and it will take not more than 20 minutes of your time to update.
