Spark, the company at New York City has come out with the device, a drone which is innovative. More and more technology is found in the ‘picture perfect’ scenarios. The indication is towards the fact that all of us love to take pictures and this is one revolutionary way of doing it.

Spark unveils ‘DJI Spark’ the latest drone in the market. The product helps to take pictures through its flight mode and for this smartphones is not a necessity. However, the app on the iPhone can be used to operate this. The looks of the product may be deceptive but this small ‘piece of wonder’ can really do wonders. Priced at $499, it weighs 10.6 ounces and can be easily taken anywhere you would like to.

Spark uses the ‘Gesture Mode’ in the product. Waving would push it back 10 feet and drawing or creating a square with one’s fingers will take the picture. Now, what if it keeps travelling around and you want to call it back, just wave your hands over your head and place your palm out so that it would return and rest on it. The light-weight is an advantage for the users to carry it around. This amazing product gives a flight time of 16 minutes.

It has the interchangeable batteries option along with micro-USB port facility which makes the recharging easy on the field. The camera of Spark captures 12-megapixel photos and 1080p video. The camera has 1/2.3” CMOS sensor that helps to capture the said megapixel.

Along with that, it also offers ‘Quick Shot mode’ that has four choices, the Rocket that sends the product ‘Spark’ high up in the air with the camera being pointed down. Drone, – the reason for the product to fly away from the person operating it, Circle mode – to rotate around the person and Helix, under which it spirals while flying. The video of 10 seconds is created by each ‘Quick Shot’. The Pano mode is used for both horizontal and vertical panoramic shots. Shallow Focus mode helps to achieve clarity in the picture of the subject by keeping the part that surrounds the subject subtle.

Users can get more control by connecting ‘Spark’ to iPhone app and the product can be flown as far as 109 yards away from the user. There is an optional remote control accessory along with this product, which allows the drone to fly as far as 1.24 miles away.

For safety and to detect obstacles, Spark has 3D sensing system, GLONASS sensors and a dual GPS. The 3D sensing will help to detect the obstacles up to 16 feet. If the battery is low, Spark will come back to the position from where it was launched which is due to the apt GPS system used. It can be pre-ordered for a price of $499 today from the official site. Spark’s ‘Fly More Combo’ is available at $699.

More and more orders are expected to be poured in and the shipping is speculated to happen from June.
