A new Sony Xperia phone with model number G8341 was spotted on GeekBench and it's believed to be the Sony Xperia XZ1. The Japan based company is rumored to be working on another smartphone with model number G8441 and that's believed to be Xperia XZ1 Compact.
According to GeekBench listing, Sony G8341 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform clocked at 1.90 GHz and coupled with 4 GB of RAM. It's an Octa core processor. It runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and scores 6459 and 1909 in the multi-core and single-core test results.
Earlier rumors revealed some Xperia XZ1 Specifications comprises of 5.2 inch full HD display with 3,000 mAh battery. Furthermore, a Polish retailer listed G8341 and G8441 phones earlier this month and according to that, the price of Xperia XZ is expected to be $880 and will be available in Moonlight Blue, Venus Pink, Warm Silver and traditional Black colors variants.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 is the chipset that is used in the maximum 2017's flagship phones, so will be the Sony's flagship phone is expected to run the same chipset.
Sony has confirmed that they will hold an event before IFA 2017 show on August 31. They are expected to launch Xperia XZ1, Xperia XZ1 Compact and Snapdragon 660 powered Xperia X1 smartphones. The same LG has scheduled an event to launch LG V30 smartphone. It will be available at IFA 2017 Sony booth.
