Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact

Sony at IFA 2017 show has unveiled three new smartphones. The Sony Xperia XZ1, Xperia XA1 Plus & XZ1 Compact are the devices that the Japanese smartphone giant announced the IFA Keynote.

While the Sony Xperia XZ1 and Xperia XZ1 Compact are flagship devices, the Xperia XA1 Plus happens to be a mid-range handset.

The Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact was among the most-anticipated smartphone for the IFA 2017 event. Another highly expected device was LG V30, which is in rumors since a long time.

Going through Sony Xperia XZ1 Compact Specifications, the device comes up with 4.6 inch 720p HD display and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset coupled with 4 GB of RAM and Adreno 540 GPU. There is 2700 mAh battery powering the compact and small device that comes with Quick Charge 3.0 facility.

The USP of the phone is the 8 mega pixel ExmorRS sensor camera on the rear side which is with f/1.4 aperture.

It will be available in Black, Snow Silver, Twilight Pink and Horizon Blue colors choice later this year.

Xperia XA1 Plus Specifications -wise includes a 5.5 inch full HD display and powered by a Mediatek Helio P20 processor coupled with 3/4 GB of RAM and 3430 mAh battery with Pump Express + 2.0 quick charge facility.

In terms of camera it comes with 23 mega pixel rear camera with f/2.4 aperture and 8 mega pixel front snapper.

No word was said on Xperia XA1 Plus price.

Now, let’s talk about the flagship Xperia XZ1 phone. Sporting a metal design with glass on front, the XZ1 sports a 5.2 inch full HD X-Reality Triluminious display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection on top.

It’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile platform and coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of fast UFS native storage.

In terms of optics, the Xperia XZ1 includes 19 mega pixel Exmor RS camera capable of recording 4K videos at an aperture f/1.9 lens. On the front we have the 13 mega pixel camera with f/2.0 lens.

The USP of phone is the 3D Scanning mode, i.e., the rear camera is capable of scanning an object, saving the photo as 3D image and share or print it.

All the three new Sony Xperia phones will be available starting September last week for purchase.
