Google has finally named the new Android version as Android Oreo in partnership with Cadbury. Galaxy Note 8 Oreo update
The Galaxy Note 8 is among the prime handset to get the Android Oreo update and it will be arriving by the end of the year.
Looks like the user will not have to wait much for the Galaxy Note 8 Android 8.0 update.
Galaxy S8 Oreo update
Just like Galaxy Note 8, the Galaxy S8 is the flagship Samsung phone that represents the smartphone company. The phone with IRIS scanner will get the update by the end of the year. Update(September 22nd): The test for S8 Android Oreo update is going on and the OTA roll-out delivery could happen soon.
Galaxy S8 Active Oreo update
The latest S Active model will get the Oreo treatment officially and we might have both AT&T(SM-G892A), T-Mobile(SM-G892T) and the unlocked SM-G892U seeing the limelight.
Galaxy S7 Oreo update
2016 flagship Samsung phone too will get the Android 8.0 Oreo update by the start of CES 2017. The same goes with the Galaxy S7 Duos.
Eligible Models: G930F (Worldwide Unlocked); SM-G930FD (Southeast Asia and Global) and SM-G930W8 (Canada).
Galaxy S7 Edge Oreo update
The Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge does qualify to get the Oreo update.
Galaxy S8 Plus Android Oreo update
The Galaxy S8 Plus Oreo update will happen in Q1, 2018.
Galaxy S8 Active Oreo update
The AT&T Galaxy S8 Active SM-G892A will get the Android 8.0 update but it could take much more than the other devices but it’s just sold by AT&T in the United States and carrier variants do take a lot of time for software update delivery.
Note: The carrier variants too will get the update.
The unlocked variant will get the update much early than its corresponding carrier variants.

The Galaxy Note 8 might not feature the latest Android 8.0 Oreo version out of the box, it might receive ahead of other devices.
We are expecting the Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus to sport the Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and for that, we will have to wait until Mobile World Congress early next year.
Talking about the ETA, the Galaxy S8, Galaxy S8 Plus, Note 8 will get the update by the end of the year.
