After the famous, Galaxy Note 8 launch, Samsung is getting ready for the launch of new tablets. The Galaxy A 8.0 2017 tablet was spotted passing through TENAA, Wi-Fi Alliance and certified by TENAA hints that it will be launched very soon. However, that’s not only the tablet that the South Korean giant is preparing as we have the news about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S SM-T385 is in development.
The news about new Galaxy Tab A2 S comes from trusted leakster Rolan Quandt who has the history of predicting leaks accurately. Through a tweet, he says that Samsung T-380 / SM-T385 is not Galaxy Tab A 8.0 2017, it’s the Galaxy Tab A2 S.

Talking about the Samsung Galaxy Tab A2 S specifications, it features an 8-inch display with 1200 x 800 pixels resolution. Internally it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 427 Mobile Platform, which is a quad core chipset clocked at 1.4 GHz. It’s coupled with 2 GB of RAM, Adreno 308 GPU for graphics and 16 GB onboard storage. That low but it can be expanded using a micro SD card supporting storage up to 128 GB.
In terms of software, the latest rumored Samsung Galaxy tablet runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat of the box with Touchwiz UI customized overlay on top.
In terms of optics, we have 8 mega pixel rear camera and 5 mega pixel front facing camera for selfies. It’s powered by a 5000 mAh battery which is quite helpful to run the device for more than a day of usage without any worries.
