Samsung Galaxy S9

Although Galaxy S8 is just 4 months old, the leaks of Galaxy S9 have just started to pour in. According to TheInvestor citing unnamed industry sources, the South Korean giant is likely to retain the same 5.7-inch on Galaxy S8 and bigger Galaxy S9 Plus to feature 6.2-inch screen size with Infinite Display.

Samsung is likely to feature an on-screen fingerprint scanner, a feature that the company missed to include in this year’s flagship phone.

It looks like the Korean giant doesn’t want to experiment too much with its flagship phone next year and wants to play safe with Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus.

A leak couple of days back hinted that Galaxy S9 will be powered by an Exynos 9810 chipset build on a 10nm node. A rumor last month claimed that Galaxy S9 will be using a new AMOLED screen technology and proprietary Bixby assistant will include new features(currently undisclosed).

With Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, Samsung shifted away from their usual stuff to pull out something special this year. It has removed Home button & replace it with a pressure sensitive section.

Currently, Samsung is readying for the Galaxy Note 8 launch and it’s expected to launch on August 23. It will break year’s old trend as it will be available ahead of Apple’s iPhone 8.

This happens to be the third leak about Samsung’s 2018 flagship phone and we will continue to receive more in coming weeks.
