Samsung Galaxy S9 Lite to Launch on May 21

Samsung is back on launching the mini version of it famous Galaxy S flagship smartphones which were stopped a couple of years ago. The Galaxy S9 Lite appeared on Chinese Certification site TENAA, passed FCC last month itself and now we hear that the official press renders has got leaked that shows the design of the phone along with a couple of photos as well.

The official press renders were shared on Weibo and it confirms that the device will be available in Black and Red color. It’s believed to carry SM-G8750 model number.

According to the previous rumors, the Galaxy S9 Lite specs include 5.8-inch full HD+ Infinity display, Snapdragon 660 processor, 4 GB of RAM and 64 Gb inbuilt storage.

As the naming itself indicates that it’s a lite version of the Galaxy S9, so the specifications have been trimmed to bring down the price.

It’s perfectly suitable for anyone who is looking for the Samsung flagship phone at an affordable price but having the same design.

The Galaxy S9 Lite is backed by a 3000 mAh battery and runs on Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box. It will come with Samsung Bixby the voice assistant.

Talking about Galaxy S9 Lite launch date, it could be launched on May 21 in China and soon will become the latest Samsung Galaxy phone before we could have the Galaxy Note 9. There is no word said on the price yet.
