After successfully launching Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus smartphones, it's harvesting time for the South Korean giant. Along with that time has come to unveil Galaxy S8 variants and without any surprise, we will have Galaxy S8 Active for the United States market with a high degree of durability. The second Galaxy S8 variant in the form of 'Galaxy S8 Mini' might see 'The Light of Day' as according to latest rumors, the South Korean consumer electronics giant could be launching a smaller Galaxy S8 phone.
Attractive Galaxy S8's Infinite Display could be seen on Galaxy S8 Mini, although it's a trimmed version of it. Infinite Display is the feature that separates flagship Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus from rest of Galaxy phones. Although upcoming Galaxy A series phones will get this feature, S8 Mini being the second device to get that is quite surprising to us. More surprising is that the previous flagship models like Galaxy S6 and S7 didn't get a mini version, S8 Mini launch will come as a surprise move.
Rumored Galaxy S8 Mini Specs: According to a report from a Chinese source, the Galaxy S8 Mini is expected to feature a 5.3-inch display and given the better screen-to-body ratio, S8 Mini might feel like an iPhone SE. Still, there isn't clarity on screen resolution.
It's rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 Mobile Platform coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB inbuilt memory. It might have a micro SD card slot to expand the storage. It will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat and just like flagship S8 & S8+, it will get the Android O update. In terms of design, it will follow up its bigger brothers.
