Samsung Galaxy S and Galaxy Note are the flagship phones series by the Samsung, which redefines the Korean giant as a branded smartphone manufacturer. According to website TheInvestor, the Korean giant has planned August 23 to be the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 release date and availability by September.
Normally Samsung unveils their Galaxy S flagship during the first half of the year at Mobile World Congress (MWC) in Barcelona, Spain and the flagship phone in the Note series at IFA trade show in Berlin during the latter half of the year. But looks like this time, the Korean giant is expected to step up. With September availability means that Galaxy Note 8 will be available ahead of iPhone flagship i.e., iPhone 8 for the first time.
The device in terms of design is expected to follow the trends set by recently unveiled Galaxy S8. It’s expected to feature company’s proprietary “Bixby” digital artificial intelligent (AI) voice assistant.
After Galaxy Note 7 fiasco, the Korean giant is expecting something big from the ‘Galaxy Note 8’ phone. According to a report on Tech radar, total loss to Galaxy Note 7 recall has been estimated to be $5.4 billion. Further the declining Galaxy S8 sales means that Samsung will speed up things relating to Note 8 in terms of launch and availability.
We hope the company also considers revising the price of the device because other Chinese OEM are easily running away with competitive pricing on their device. Otherwise it’s projected that Oppo and Vivo are expected to be next Samsung in India and China.
