Samsung Galaxy Note 8 promo

The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is just three weeks away from the official launch at Samsung UnPacked event in the New York City on August 23.

Based on the past leaks, we already have idea on how the upcoming Samsung’s flagship device will look alike. The device is now spotted passing through US Federal Communications Commission (FCC). The FCC has certified the device with SM-950XU, SM-950U, SM-950U1 and SM-950W model numbers and SM-950U is the expected to be the base unit.

Just like every other phone FCC listing, it doesn’t give out any details on Galaxy Note Specifications or price, nor the image of the device but once the device gets the approval, it’s imminent for a launch within couple of days or weeks.

The South Korean giant after the predecessor Galaxy Note 7 fiasco is looking forward for a greater success with Galaxy Note 8 phone. For the first time ever, Samsung UnPacked is happening before the Apple’s fall 2017 event.

The above model number suggests the approval of carrier variants as Note 8 will be available through AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, Sprint, US Cellular and other carriers apart from unlocked handset availability.

The Galaxy Note 8 SM-950U is expected to go on for sale very soon after the official announcement. According to reports, the South Korean Consumer Electronics giant is expected to accept the device pre-orders from the same day of launch in United States. This will give them atleast four weeks before the iPhone 7s, iPhone 7s Plus and iPhone 8 are available. So, things are looking to change and it will be not an easy run for Apple now.
