Samsung has broke the jinx in the naming convention as for the second time this year, they have opted to go for a smartphone except for regular Galaxy A3, Galaxy A5 and A7 smartphones. This year we already have seen the launch of Galaxy A8 2018 and Galaxy A8+ and now the Samsung Galaxy A6 and Galaxy A6+ goes has been officially listed on the company’s website.
The highlighting feature of the latest Samsung smartphones remains the design and camera features.
Going through Galaxy A6 specifications, the device sports a 5.6 inch display with 1480 x 720 pixels HD+ resolution while the Galaxy A6+ sport a larger 6-inch display with 2220 x 1080 pixels resolution with 18.5:9 aspect ratio and infinite display.
Both the Galaxy A6 and A6+ phones runs on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box and has an Octa core CPU underneath. Both devices will be available in two different variants with 3 GB RAM with 32 GB storage and 4 GB RAM model with 64 GB built-in storage. There is also a micro Sd card slot as well, supporting expansion up to 256 GB.
While Galaxy A6+ gets dual camera setup with 16 mega pixel primary camera with f/1.7 aperture and secondary 5 mega pixel camera with f/1.9 aperture, while the Galaxy A6 has only 16 mega pixel rear camera with f/1.7 aperture.
The Galaxy A6 Plus also gets boost in terms of selfie camera too with 24 mega pixel image sensor while there is 16 mega pixel image sensor, both with f/1.9 aperture.

“The Galaxy A6 and A6+ draw on Samsung’s smartphone heritage to combine everyday convenience with an impressive camera that lets users capture, personalize and share moments, in a way that lets them uniquely express themselves.”
The Galaxy A6 and A6 Plus are already available for pre-order in Germany at a price of EUR 309 and EUR 369 respectively. There is no word been said on the international price but it will be available soon.
