Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) is one event of the year where hundreds of companies have an opportunity to showcase their consumer electronics products. Samsung makes the most use of the CES and they unveil several electronics devices ranging from smart TVs, refrigerators, microwave ovens, smartphones, tablets and home-connected smart devices. Much like the last year, at CES 2018, the company has planned to unveil two new smartphones.
Dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A3 2018 and Galaxy A5 2018, they will be the new smartphones in the Galaxy A series. Both phones will be unveiled along or ahead with long-rumored Galaxy A8 2018 and Galaxy A8+ 2018.
Both models will be unveiled with Dual SIM version with an official name given to them as Galaxy A3 2018 Duos and Galaxy A5 2018 Duos.
The Galaxy A3 SM-A330F is expected to feature a 4.7-inch HD display while Galaxy A5 SM-A530F will have a 5.2-inch full HD display with Always On Display and Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. It’s expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box.
Under the hood, both devices will be powered by latest version of the proprietary Exynos Octa core chipset out of the box.
In terms of camera, the latest Samsung Galaxy phones in the A series will have 16 mega pixel rear camera and 16 mega pixel front facing camera for selfies and enhanced video calling feature.
Galaxy A3 2018 SM-A330F will be launched in Europe with model number as A330FL, A330F in UAE & Turkey, A330Y/DS (LATAM, IDN, THA); A330Y in New Zealand, Mexico), A330K/L/S for South Korea market and worldwide unlocked dual variant as A330DS (Global Dual-SIM).
Similarly, the Galaxy A5 2018 will carry model number as SM-A530F for the global Single SIM variant, A530F/DS for the global Dual-SIM version and A530K/L/S for South Korea market.
Just like it’s predecessor, both models will be available in several colors variants ranging from Black Sky, Gold Sand, Blue Mist and Peach Cloud color.
