HMD Global continues to enrich the Nokia brand and also bring back the glory of the yester-years famous phones by unveiling the revamped version of those phones with latest tech features added.
After Nokia 3310 4G, HMD Global has launched Nokia 8110 4G apart from launching Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 1 (first Android Go phone) and Nokia 8 Sirocco smartphones at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018). So-called as the Banana phone makes a return after it was made famous ‘The Matrix’.
All new Nokia 8110 4G retains the curve slider design and adds 4G VoLTE connectivity. The phone also gets ‘Smart Feature OS’, through which it brings Google Assistant, the voice companion which can do a lot of things without typing. Along with that you also get a flurry of other Google apps which are normally included in any Android smartphone like Google Maps and Google Search. There is also famous Snake game which is revamped. The Facebook and Twitter app will be available through a software update on the phone itself.
Going through the Nokia 8110 4G specifications, the device comes with 2.4-inch display providing 240 x 320 pixels resolution with 1.1 GHz Dual core processor with 512 MB RAM and 4 GB inbuilt memory. It’s capped with 1500 mAh battery and includes 2 mega pixel rear camera.
The Nokia 8110 4G is priced at $99 (Rs 6300 in India approx) and it will be available from May 2018 in Banana Yellow and traditional Black color variants.
