Nokia 8 Price in India

HMD Global has unveiled Nokia 8 smartphone in India today at an exclusive event. The Finnish company found a re-touch with HMD Global. The Nokia 8 price in India is slated to be Rs 36,999 and it takes on several smartphones like OnePlus 5, Lenovo Moto Z, and Galaxy C9 Pro, Moto X Force, BlackBerry Priv in the mid-to-high range smartphones.

The Nokia 8 is the first flagship model unveiled by HDM Global this year and it comes right after the launch of three budget smartphones like Nokia 3, Nokia 6 & Nokia 5.

The company promotes its new flagship model with tagline: “Be less Selfie. Be more #Bothie”.

Going through Nokia 8 specifications, we have the device running on Android 7.1.1 Nougat out of the box and upgradeable to Android Oreo.

Under the hood, it’s powered by an Octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 64 Gb built-in storage.

On top of that, it has a 5.3 inch Quad HD display with sculpted Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection. In terms of optics, it has 13 megapixel dual rear cameras, one with color sensor and other with a monochrome sensor for low light to get dedicated black and white photography. It also has ZEISS optics and OIS. Furthermore, it comes with Dual-Sight technology, which uses both front and two-rear cameras simultaneously to fuse both images together into one photo or video.

There is also a 13 mega pixel auto focus front facing camera with PDAF and wide angled lens.

It’s a dual SIM smartphone with a IP54 certification for being Splashproof. It comes with Nokia OZO spatial 360-degree audio for incredible voice quality. It’s backed by a 3090 mAh battery which supports Quick Charge 3.0.

The Nokia 8 price was expected to be $675 but to give a cutting edge for its first flagship, HMD has priced it at an unbelievable $579. So, the final price is now locked down to Rs 36,999 in India and will be available for purchase through Amazon.in in Blue, Steel and Polished Copper colors from October 14th. It will be also available through selected retail stores through-out India.
