Nokia 7 was launched on 19 October 2017 and it was exclusive to China. Now the company is ready to launch its plus-size variant, by name Nokia 7 Plus. This is not the first time that we hear about the Nokia 7+ phone as the device has been in the news for a couple of weeks now. Firstly, HMD Global plans for 2018 revealed the phone will certainly come up and last week it was spotted on GeekBench.
The device is now leaked in alleged marketing material and some of the specs of the device has been leaked. It’s great to see device sporting dual camera setup with 12 mega pixel + 13 mega pixel sensors with Carl Zeiss lens on the back with 2x optical zoom capabilities.
In terms of the Nokia 7 Plus specifications, we have the latest Nokia Android phone with 6-inch display with 18:9 resolution display. Interestingly, it will be the first handset by HMD Global to come up with that resolution. A 16 mega pixel camera on the front will work great for selfies and bothies. As reported on GeekBench, the device will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 chipset and will be running on Android 8.0 Oreo out of the box. Just like other HDM Global Nokia phones, this will be surely upgraded to upcoming Android P version.
Apart from Nokia 7 Plus, HMD Global has plans to unveil other smartphones like Nokia 9 and Nokia 10. While the Nokia 9 will be a true flagship phone which redefines Nokia brand in 2018, the Nokia 10 is expected to be the first smartphone with penta lens(5 lens), in simple words, world’s first ever five camera smartphone.
The device is expected to global soon and maybe the Finnish smartphone maker could be launching the device at Mobile World Congress, to be held from 26 February to March 1st, 2018 at Barcelona, Spain.
