HMD Global expanded their rebranded Nokia smartphones reach to key markets like India after China launch. The company announced that Nokia 6, Nokia 5 and Nokia 3 smartphones will reach stores in India very soon. Nokia 3 is the second device by HMD Global to be available in the sub-continent as already new Nokia 3310 (2017) is available for purchase at Rs. 3310. Launched last week, its now available for purchase through offline retail stores only from past two weeks. It bears a price tag of Rs 9,499 and now available for purchase online through Croma website. Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 will go on for sale on July 7 and July 14 respectively.
Going through Nokia 3 specifications, it’s a budget smartphone with 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels High Definition(HD) display. It’s powered by Mediatek MT6737 processor coupled with 2 GB of RAM and Mali T-720 GPU.
On the camera front, Nokia 3 comes with 8-megapixel front facing and 8-megapixel selfie camera. It’s backed by 3650 mAh Lithium-ion battery and has a total of 16 GB inbuilt storage (only 12 GB available for users, rest is consumed by system resources) and runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat of the box.
Coming to the connectivity front it’s a dual SIM smartphone with a dedicated micro SD card slot. It includes Wi-Fi, Wi-Fi tether, Bluetooth v4.1, USB OTG, micro USB 2.0 port, 3G and 4G VoLTE connectivity.
