At the year starting, HMD Global made it very clear that they will introduce 5-7 Nokia Android phones and they are well on the target to do that. Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 are the first four Nokia Android smartphones launched by Finnish giant this year. The next in the row is Nokia 2 which is in rumors since a couple of weeks now.
Earlier Nokia 2 was spotted in the Bluetooth SIG database, image was also leaked and B&H website also mistakenly listed the device. Now the device gets through the AnTuTu listing revealing some of the specifications of the device.
Nokia 2 bears a model number as TA-1035 and it’s powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 212 chipset coupled with 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of inbuilt storage. Interestingly, it’s an entry-level device sought to take market by storm. Sony Mobiles is also preparing one such device named Xperia R1.
The display is with 1280 x 720 pixels HD resolution and that’s all we have in this leak. The screen size maybe around 4.7 inch or 5 inch. Another rumors claims that the device is powered by a powerful 4000 mAh battery and that was according to FCC report.
The phone will hit major markets in the world like United States, Canada, United Kingdom, India, China and other nations at a price of $99.
Nokia has scheduled an event on October 31st in India. Maybe they are launching Nokia 7 smartphone which was launched in China a couple of days back or the Nokia 2 to surprise one and all.
Also Nokia 9 is in pipeline too. It will be a flagship Nokia phone taking on Samsung Galaxy S8, iPhone 8 and other flagship models. It maybe announced early next year at Mobile World Congress (MWC 2018).
