Google announced the latest version of Android as Android 8.0 Oreo last month. The announcement has been made with the conjunction with Solar Eclipse on 21 August 2017. A number of smartphones will get this update and you can check out the list of qualifying devices to get the Android Oreo update. Good news is coming out from Lenovo owned Motorola company as they have released a list of Moto phones which will get the Oreo update.
Android 8.0 Oreo update brings tons of new features and refreshed designs enhancing the overall new Android experience. The user can enjoy new Android 8.0 Oreo features like improved customised notifications, more control over background running applications, improved adaptive icons, better cache handling and several new gestures.
Now the attention turns to phones which have the new speedy Android 8.0 Oreo. Motorola is one such company which has upgraded some of its phones with Android 8.0 Oreo. The list doesn’t contain any budget friendly phones like Moto E4 and E4 Plus. Motorola has also omitted Moto C Plus, Moto M, Moto G4 Play, Moto G4, and Moto G4 Plus the three smartphones which were released in 2016.
Here are all the Motorola Smartphones that will be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo. Moto Z, Moto Z Droid, Moto Z Force Droid, Moto Z Play, Moto Z Play Droid, Moto Z2 Play, Moto Z2 Force Edition, Moto X4, Moto G5, Moto G5 Plus, Moto G5S and Moto G5S Plus.
It makes it easier for Lenovo to carry-out the software update to Moto phones because they maintain almost stock like user interface. Once the Android Oreo builds are available, the company will roll-out the update to unlocked handset first and then to its corresponding carrier variants in United States, Canada, United Kingdom and other countries.
Keep your fingers crossed and wait for Motorola smartphones with its latest update of Android 8.0 Oreo. A number of Samsung Galaxy phones too will get the Oreo update.
