After Microsoft announced that Windows Phones are dead, its high time for them to move to Android. Slowly they are moving on the Google's mobile OS platform. The Microsoft Edge browser is now available for Android users. The die-hard Microsoft fans can download the Edge browser from Play Store. The App is still in development but the users can download it, though they may encounter some bugs while running it.
Microsoft Edge has been launched last week in Windows 10. The Edge is now moving out from the home and making its place in Android and iOS. The iOS version of the app exceed's 10000 users limit for TestFlight apps and is currently not available to anyone.
Microsoft is now allowing the members of Windows Insider program the first shot at checking out the Edge browser for Android and iOS. Anyone can be a member of Windows insider program and one can signup at Microsoft website.
The feature included in Edge for Windows 10 is reading list, New Tab Page, and the reading view will all be included in iOS and Android. An interesting thing about this is if the user has stopped reading in Windows 10 of Edge, he can continue the same in Android where he has left reading in Windows 10 browser.
The first look of the Android version of the Edge will be released soon in the United States, but it will available to the residents of United States. Other countries languages will be added later.
The Edge has features like top feeds of news, your events for the day, your most used app and more. The browser also comes with a number of color choices for customizing its look.
Microsoft Edge will surely give a tough competition to Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox and Opera.
