Update – Micromax has unveiled Canvas 1 smartphone in India priced at Rs 6999.
Yet again a new series of the Micromax’s phone will be launched for a lower price and is going to hit the market very soon in India. As reported, Micromax is going to introduce another Canvas series. Dubbed as Canvas1, it’s a budget smartphone expected to be priced at Rs. 6999 in India.
The phone has a Smart key similar to that of iPhone, that can take a picture, Screenshot or turn on the torch and switch to silent mode. Above all the best feature of the phone is, it offers on board support for 22 different regional languages. This company seems to understand the Indian market and hence probably has made a feature such as this one.
The phone is expected to be powered by a quad-core MediaTek MT6737 chipset paired with 2 GB of RAM. There is 16 GB of internal storage with a micro SD card slot supporting expandable storage up to 64 GB. The phone also is speculated to come with a 5-inch HD display with a 2.5D Sharp IN-CELL display providing 400 nits of brightness as per PhoneRadar.
Coming to the optics, it includes 8-megapixel primary camera with f/2.2 aperture, beauty modes and LED flash. In the front there is a 5-megapixel wide-angle selfie snapper coupled with a LED flash. The other features are said to be dual-SIM card slots, a 2,500 mAh battery, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth v4.0, and micro-USB 2.0 port along with OTG (on-the-go) support.
The phone will be running on Android 7.0 Nougat software out of the box. To top it all, it gives stereo Sound dual speakers for better sound quality. Reports also claims that Canvas1 supports 4G VoLTE connectivity, so it’s possible for the customers of Reliance Jio to use the device.
The competitors such Xiaomi Redmi 4A, Oppo A37, and the Samsung Galaxy J2 Pro are doing the best to find their place, however, Micromax has its own strategy to reveal to the crowd and its a good show for the audience to select from the mobile market.
