While Samsung is gearing up for Galaxy Note 8, we have LG looking forward to V30 smartphone launch on August 31st at IFA 2017. LG has already sent out invites for the device launch. Still, we are atleast 40 days away from the official launch of upcoming LG phone in the V-Series.
The LG V30 was recently spotted on GeekBench for pre-launch benchmarking, dated July 17, 5:47 PM. Just like other benchmark tests, the GeekBench reveals some of the major specifications of the device. The LG V30 H932PR runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and comes with 4 GB of RAM.
Under the hood, it will be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile Platform which is a commonly used chipset for most flagship phones this year. The same chipset powers Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8 Plus, HTC U11. The OnePlus 5 even includes the same chipset but packs higher 6 GB of RAM inside.
The GeekBench test reports the Single core score as 1899 and Multi-core score of 6350. The complete test details are available in the source link given below.
LG is expected to sack the secondary display from its V-Series phones and they might opt for OLED displays with 6-inch screen size with 18:9 aspect ratio.
On the back, the device is expected to have a dual camera setup and look like LG might come up with a costliest dual camera phone but the question is – is it going to be the best dual camera phone?
