If you could remember, last year during the same month of January LG Electronics introduced all-new LG Aristo MS210, an entry-level smartphone for T-Mobile and MetroPCS in the United States. Now, the South Korean giant is preparing to launch its successor. All new LG Aristo 2 phone with model number X210MA was spotted online with a photo depicting retail box packaging of the device.
Unannounced LMX210MA was spotted on LG’s official website. According to that, it will be heading to Metro PCS in North America.
The carrier already had unveiled LG Aristo last year and it’s safe to assume that LG Aristo 2 will be its successor. It was the first MetroPCS phone to run on Android 7.0 Nougat.
The device has already received FCC certification. Further, Slashleaks has the device photos in full glory. The LG Aristo 2 will a budget-friendly smartphone sporting a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD display, 2 GB of RAM, 32 GB inbuilt memory and powered by a 2410 mAh battery. It will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset i.e., Snapdragon 430 Mobile Platform and possibly be running on Android 7.1.2 Nougat out of the box.
According to MyLGphones, it’s one of the variants of LG K8 2018 phone. Another variant with model number LM-X210VPP was leaked a couple of days back by name LG Zone 4 for Verizon Wireless. Other variants being LM-X210ULMA, LM-X210TA, LM-X210MA, LM-X210 and LM-X21.
It looks like it will be announced alongside several other LG products at Consumer Electronics Show (CES 2018) which is being held from 9th January to 12th January 2018 in Las Vegas.
