Intex Mobiles recently went crazy and announced eight new 2G featured phones in the Indian market. Quite surprisingly at the event, company revealed their upcoming 4G featured phone. Dubbed as ‘Intex Turbo+4G‘ was launched by Intex on Tuesday. The ‘Domestic-Handset’ maker company, launched this as a part of the company’s feature phone series, ‘Navratna’. With this phone, Intex takes on Reliance JioPhone and Idea 4G Phone.
Intex’s upcoming 4G VoLTE model and eight 2G Phone models which are to be launched in India, are priced between Rs.700 and Rs. 1500.
The company reiterated that the talks with the OS developers is on, for the Intex 4G feature phone, and will launch the device around Diwali this year.
The Intex 4G VoLTE phone comprises a 2.4-inch QVGA display and packs a 2000 mAh battery. The device is powered with a dual core processor along with 512MB RAM and 4GB ROM.
With regard to the camera aspect the phone offers 2MP rear camera and VGA front (selfie) camera. 4G VoLTE also comes with an expandable memory of up to 32GB.
The Intex Turbo+ 4G specification has more to its credit and involves KaiOS. Not to forget, 4G is with VoLTE(Voice Over LTE).
The 2G-feature phone models again divided into ECO series, Turbo series, and Ultra series. Intex ECO series (ECO 102+, ECO 106+ and ECO Selfie) phones sport a 1.8-inch QQVGA display and come with currency verification, 800mAh-1800mAh, multi Language Support, Camera & GPRS.
Apart from this the Intex Turbo series (Turbo Shine and Turbo Selfie18) feature 2.4 inch display, multi language support, 1400 mAh battery and expandable memory of 32GB. The Turbo Selfie 18 sports dual camera with flash, 1800 mAh battery.
Intex Ultra 2400+ has a 2.4-inch display, camera with flash, a battery, expandable memory 64 GB while Ultra Selfie has features a 2.8-inch display along with dual camera and a 3000mAh battery. Finally, Intex Lions G10 sports a 2.4-inch display, camera, 1450mAh. Intex’s feature phones series is available in black and white colour options.
