Infocus recently revealed that they will be launching a new phone in India on Wednesday but their new Turbo 5 smartphone is already listed on Amazon India website. Although it’s not available for purchase it reveals full specifications of the handset before it’s official launch except the price.
Yet-to-be-announced InFocus Turbo 5 smartphone features a 5.2 inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD display with 2.5D curved Glass on top and 282 PPI pixel density. It’s powered by a MediaTek MT6737 Quad Core processor coupled (clocked at 1.2 GHz) with Mali T-720 GPU and 2 GB of RAM.
The most highlighting feature of the device is the larger 5000 mAh battery which according to the company will provide two days of usage time. It provides 23 hours of talk time or 34 days of standby time although that’s a just measure of battery life that all OEM provides(practically hard to achieve).
It’s a dual sim (nano + nano) device with a fingerprint scanner located at the back of the device below the 13-megapixel rear camera unit. It has 16 GB of built-in storage, which is expandable via Micro SD card up to 32 GB. For selfies and video calling it has a 5-megapixel camera on the front. In terms of software, it runs on Android 7.0 Nougat OS out of the box.
Apart from accelerometer, ambient light sensor, digital compass, and range sensor the device includes various connectivity options like 4G VoLTE connectivity, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS with GLONASS, micro USB 2.0 and FM Radio.
According to specs and features, it shouldn’t be priced anything more than Rs 10,000. InFocus was unavailable to comment on its launch outside India.
