Honor a Huawei’s sub-brand has officially unveiled Honor Bee 2, company’s latest entry-level 4G phone. It targets a unique set of customers who aren’t looking for big sized phones as Honor Bee 2 is with 4.5-inch display screen, only a few handsets are available with that screen size. The screen resolution is however just 854 x 480 pixels.
In terms of historical terms, it’s successor to May 2015 launched Honor Bee smartphone. In terms of features, it includes ‘Rainbow’ light, a circular ring around the primary rear camera. It syncs with device notification and glows when there is an incoming phone, message or other important notification. Apart from that, it comes with Smart Key, a dedicated button placed on the left size bezel of the device. It works as quick-launch for selected apps.
Under the hood, it’s powered by quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz(Mediatek MT6735M) coupled with 1 Gigs of RAM and 8 GB inbuilt memory. It runs on Android 5.1 Lollipop with Emotion UI 3.1 on top, a proprietary custom skin used on all Huawei Android phones.
Honor Bee 2 is a dual SIM handset with 2100 mAh battery. It has 5 megapixel rear snapper and 2 megapixel front facing camera.
The Honor Bee 2 is priced at ₹7,499 with availability in Black, White and Gold color options. And just like Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime, this will be an exclusive offline-only handset. It will be available across 20,000 retail stores in the country. Unlike other phones, Honor offers 15-months service warranty.
It’s predecessor, Honor Bee is still available for purchase online at ₹3,849 through Amazon.in.
