Huawei Honor 7 Launched with Eye Mode Launched in China at $95

HUAWEI HONOR 7

It’s quite surprising that flagship Huawei Honor 7 comes last after the launch of Honor 7A, 7C, and Honor 7x. These devices are in the market for over a six month or so. Generally we do see smartphones launched with flagship name first and then their variants.

Going through theĀ Huawei Honor 7 specifications, this latest Huawei smartphone has a minimalistic design with curved edges and gets 5.45 inch 1440 x 720 pixels HD+ display with 18:9 aspect ratio. Sadly it misses out fingerprint sensor but gets other handy features like eye mode, three fingerprint screenshot and double-click wake-up.

Under the hood, it’s powered by home-grown Mediatek MT6739 quad core chipset with 2 GB RAM and 16 GB inbuilt memory, which can be expanded up to 256 GB using a micro SD card.

In terms of optics, we have a 13 mega pixel rear camera with PDAF and a 5 mega pixel front facing camera with MEI Beauty.

It’s backed a 3020 mAh battery and includes all the major connectivity features like Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, 3.5 mm headphone jack etc., and will go on for sale from May 22.

Huawei Honor 7 price is set to 599 Yuan i.e., $95 and available in Blue and Gold color options. Availability in other parts of the world will be revealed soon.
