Huawei's sub-brand Honor has planned to launch Honor V9 Play smartphone in China on September 6.
Dubbed as Honor V9 Play, the company has sent out invites for the launch date. It's actually a cheaper variant of its flagship Honor V9 smartphone and so you can call it as Honor V9 Mini but let's just stick with the official name of the device.
The press invitation clearly states that there is a new Honor Play smartphone planned for launch and going by the numbers it's surely is V9. It sports a metal design and could be racing for the budget smartphone of this year in China.
The smartphone was spotted passing through TENAA a couple of days back. In terms of Honor V9 Play Specifications, we have the smartphone powered by proprietary HiSilicon Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4 GB of RAM and 12 mega pixel rear camera. The rest of the device specs aren't known yet and it will be revealed on the launch date i.e., September 6. Unlike its bigger brother, it will not be sporting a dual camera setup.
Talking about the Honor V9 Play Price, it could start from CNY 1499 i.e., $227 USD or Rs 14,600 in India. That report comes from a Chinese news agency Anzhuo.
Honor V9 Play could be just limited for China homeland. It might not be available outside China.
Huawei could launch the Honor 7x smartphone in India. It received the 3C certification recently and it's definitely on schedule for being a timely Honor 6x successor.
