Nokia is always known to make the high-end camera phones. It’s been more than two months we heard about an update from Nokia which was in November 2017 before the Nokia 6 2018 model was announced at the start of 2018. The rumors have been that the company is busy producing something more exciting this year. Nokia has also been preparing for Mobile World Congress 2018. The company is expected to see an awesome launch with its flagship new smartphone Nokia 9. The phone has been in rumors since a long time now and it deserves to be.

HMD Global owned Nokia brand will be preparing to launch a new smartphone with Penta lens camera i.e., smartphone with 5 camera lens. Which means the device will have 5 cameras with a 360-degree angle like its OZO camera. Yes, you heard it right five cameras to enjoy the photography at a new level.

HMD has already been working on this and this could be a game changer for the company. The smartphone is expected to have 18:9 full-screen thin bezel display. The device will sport seven holes, five for the camera and two for flashlights.

This year Nokia has planned to expand its family with the launch of Nokia 1, Nokia 4, Nokia 7, Nokia 8 and Nokia 9, making Nokia 9 its flagship device. The device is likely to have a dual selfie camera setup with a thin bezel, 5.5-inch OLED display and 12 megapixels and 13 megapixels camera sensors with 3250 mAh battery. The Nokia 1 is expected to be the first Android Go powered smartphone, eventually taking on the Android One smartphones.

HMD Global will host a press conference on February 25 to announce its new Nokia models but there have been no details about the launch of Penta lens camera phones. Interestingly, the Mobile World Congress event begins on February 26, the date when Samsung has planned to launch Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus smartphones.
