A new device from Gionee in the F-Series has been leaked online. Dubbed as “Gionee F109”, some of its major specifications, both internal and externals have come up.
Gionee F109 is likely to sport a metal unibody and before we go through design, let’s quickly run through its specifications. It’s likely to have a 5-inch 1280 x 720 pixels HD display and powered by a MediaTek MT6737 chipset with has four 64-bit ARM Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.25 GHz. Mali-T720 GPU unit takes care of graphical processing needs of the device.
The F109 is said to feature a 8 mega pixel camera on the rear side with LED flash placed on the top left side. There is 5 mega pixel selfie camera on the front, decent enough for video calling and selfies. A relatively small 2660 mAh Lithium-ion battery keeps the device running and expected to provide a day of battery life upon normal usage. It runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and weighs around 141.9 grams.
Further through the specifications, it has 3 GB of RAM and 16 GB native storage, which can be expanded using a dedicated micro SD card slot. Quickly running through design part, it has a Power button and separated Volume Up and Down keys located on the right side bezel. There is no word on fingerprint sensor because neither we have a Home button nor there the scanning unit is visible on the rear side. On the bottom edge, we have micro USB port, a 3.5 mm headphone jack and mic for noise cancellation.
Gionee F109 Price
The Gionee F109 may be priced at 1299 Yuan(approximately $200 USD) and that’s what leak suggests. It’s likely to be available in Gold and Black color variants with the launch in a couple of weeks. Currently, there is no word been said officially from the company regarding the device.
