Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 with Pure Android 8.1 Oreo Launched in India

As leaked a couple of days ago, Asustek has unveiled ZenFone Max Pro M1 smartphone. This latest smartphone in the ZenFone series will be initially released in India and it will be available in other countries as well. The smartphone offers a “pure Android experience” but there is no mention of Android One or Android Go either.

Going through the¬†Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 specifications, the phone comes with 6-inch display with 2160 x 1080 full HD+ resolution. It’s a metal phone with a diamond cut edges and 2.5D curved glass display.

Under the hood, the latest Asus ZenFone smartphone is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Mobile platform and Adreno 509 GPU inside coupled up to 6 GB of RAM. It’s available in three variants of 3 GB, 4 GB and 6 GB RAM.

This phone comes with pure Android 8.1 Oreo out of the box, the latest version of Android and it will get the upcoming Android 9.0 update.

Coming to the optics, it includes 8 mega pixel front camera and dual camera setup with 13 mega pixel and 5 mega pixel image sensor with a fingerprint sensor. It packs 5000 mAh battery.

The premium model with 6 GB RAM comes with 16MP+5MP main and 16MP selfie snappers.

Asus ZenFone Max Pro M1 price in India is said to be and it’s available in Meteor Black and Deepsea Black colors. The 3 GB RAM model with 32 GB storage is priced at Rs 11,000 and 4 GB RAM with 64 GB storage costs 13,000 and 6 GB RAM model is priced at Rs 15,000. That’s a very competitive price.
