Suresh Prabhu flags Off Train along scenic Visakhapatnam-Araku route with New Vistadome Coaches

With the clear aim to deliver the delightful travelling experience to the travellers along the scenic route of Visakhapatnam-Araku the Indian railway has introduced the all new experience with Vistadome coaches on Visakhapatnam-Kirandul passenger train.

The railway’s minister, Suresh Prabhu, flagged off the train with all new Vistadome coaches through a video link along the scenic route of Vishakhapatnam-Araku.

This specially designed coach of Vistadome claimed to be the first of its kind in Indian railway. This has the large glass window & an observation lounge that can offer the passengers a panoramic view of the places along the 128 km long scenic railway route from Vishakhapatnam to Araku hill station.

One of the most interesting features of these Vistadome coaches of worth Rs. 3.4 Crore with 40 seats is that it has the double-wide reclining passenger seats that can offer you the rotation of 360 degrees for the better experience of sightseeing. This route has overall 39 tunnels.

Apart from that, it can offer you glass doomed ceiling, multitier luggage rack, and automatic sliding doors. Tourist can get the clear picture of the breathtaking Anantagiri ghat section, Borra caves & tunnels, Lambasingi along the route of Vishakhapatnam-Araku.

For now, only one coach has been attached to this train for the trail basis and later on one more will be added soon. These types of coaches can offer you unique travelling experience so that tourist can enjoy the beauty of nature along with their journey. A similar type of coaches will be introduced later on by the railways in northeast section as well.
