A 74% stake owner of the league, Star India, is the official broadcaster of the game. The PKL was introduced in the year 2014. Sachin getting into the team as an investor, would pep up the demand for the game and increase its intensity of recognition. For sure, it is going to surpass the other sports with a calm approach which is in terms of the geographical representation.
Vivo Electronics is the title sponsor for the League for five years and has closed the sponsorship deal for 300 crores very recently and so it’s now renamed as ‘Vivo Pro Kabaddi‘.
