Virat Kohli has been declared match fit by the Board of Cricket Control in India(BCCI) and will play for Royal Challengers Bangalore(RCB) against Mumbai Indians(MI) at M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bengaluru on April 14. Virat Kohli suffered a strain in his right shoulder while fielding during the third test match against Australia in Ranchi. The injury kept him away from playing the fourth and final test in Dharamsala and also the first three Vivo IPL 2017 matches.
The Royal Challengers Bangalore captain has been declared hit on Thursday by the BCCI Medical Team and he was part in team’s practice session, a day before the team’s fourth match this season. A few loosening exercises followed by fielding and catching drills has dropped some hints that he may return from injury in RCB’s next game. He also posted a video of his gym session on his Instagram account.
RCB has lost two out of three matches and searching for a moral boost after Chris Gayle’s poor form continues.
RCB’s lone win this season came against Delhi Daredevils on 9 April 2017 and are looking forward to their second win.
Virat Kohli was top scorer with 973 runs to his name in 16 games during last season of IPL. He led his team to finals where they lost to Sunrisers Hyderabad.
On 14 April, it will be a thriller to watch RCB vs MI game, the 12th match of the season, because it’s a home game for RCB and Mumbai Indians, will look to extend their winning streak.
