After West Indies historic win over England yesterday, Bangladesh, yet another low-ranked test Cricket nation has beaten a top-ranked test cricket country. Bangladesh has upset the Australia team at their home in the first test at Sher e Bangla National Stadium Dhaka. They beat the visitors by 20 runs to register their first ever test win over Australia.
Chasing 265 in the fourth inning, Australia team were on the driver seat to win the test by the end of the day 3 as 109/2 with David Warner on 75 not out and SPD Smith batting on 25.

For Bangladesh, the star was Shakib Al Hasan who picked up five for in both first and second inning. He also score 84 runs in the first inning as well. No doubt that he is the Man of the Match. He is one of the top ranked all rounders in the world cricket right now, infact he could be competing for the best Cricket all-rounder ever, the title hold by South African Cricketer Jacques Kallis.
In previous five head to head encounters, Australia have won four and draw one. This is their first win and they would like to see more in upcoming test match in the series. The Bangladesh vs Australia 2nd test starts from September 4.
Bangladesh Cricket is proud of it’s team’s effort led by skipper Mushafiqur Rahim. Yet another sad moment for Cricket Australia.
