India has yet again defeated arch-rival Pakistan in a major ICC events to shut off outside world of team’s alleged rift with the coach Anil Kumble. Team India dodge the rain and crush Pakistan by 124 runs (D/L method) in insipid Champions Trophy 2017 opener.

In chase of 324 in 48 overs, Pakistan opener gave them a decent start adding 47 runs for the first wicket but since then they kept on losing wickets regular intervals. It was a disciplined bowling effort from Team India as they bowled out the opposition for 164 and register a comfortable win.
With this win over Pakistan, India now tops the Group B points table with an impressive run rate of +3.024. The ‘Men in Blue’ now faces Sri Lanka at The Oval on June 8 and then takes on South Africa on June 11 at The Oval.
