Ind vs SL 2017 Series

Ind vs SL 2017: After beating New Zealand in an exciting T-20 and ODI on their home turf, Indian team is set to take on visiting Sri Lankan team. It’s Sri Lanka tour of India 2017 series and they are scheduled to play three test matches, three ODI’s and three T20’s.

Starting with a Test match at Kolkatta, Sri Lanka team led by Dinesh Chandimal is looking for a fortune change against #1 Test team in the world.

India and Sri Lanka will play three test matches starting from 16 November to 6th December. Within three days of completion of Test Series, Ind vs SL ODI series will begin.

Sri Lanka Test Squad

SLC, Sri Lanka Cricket board recently announced Sri Lanka team squad for first three test matches. Angelo Mathews has been declared fit. Here is the full squad –

Dinesh Chandimal(Captain), Dhananjaya de Silva, Niroshan Dickwella, Vishwa Fernando, Lahiru Gamage, Rangana Herath, Dimuth Karunaratne, Suranga Lakmal, Angelo Mathews, Dilruwan Perera, Sadeera Samarawickrama, Lakshan Sandakan, Dasun Shanaka, Roshen Silva and Lahiru Thirimanne.

BCCI also announced India team squad for the first 1st and 2nd Test matches –

Virat Kohli(Captain), Murali Vijay, Shikhar Dhawan, Lokesh Rahul, Cheteshwar Pujara, Ajinkya Rahane, Wriddhiman Saha, Rohit Sharma, Ravindra Jadeja, Kuldeep Yadav, Ravichandra Ashwin, Bhuvaneshwar Kumar, Mohammed Shami, Ishant Sharma and Umesh Yadav.

Hardik Pandya, the rising star of India has been rested officially by Indian Cricket board and he is happy to take a leave. India’s top-ranked spin bowlers – Ashwin and Jadeja are set to return after a long break from Cricket. Ravichandra Ashwin is just 8 wickets away to make a world record of fastest to 300 test wickets.
