As expected all new SIRI enabled ‘Apple HomePod smart Speaker‘ was unveiled at the annual WWDC (Worldwide Developer’s Conference) yesterday, June 5, 2016 at San Jose, California. The product has come out as a ‘heavy attack’ on Amazon’s Alexa feature and Echo devices, including Google’s Home, wherein the lucrative affect of the price seems to be declared. A rumor of this speaker being unveiled at the conference has been the buzz for some time and now it has come to reality with the introduction of the product. For obvious reasons, the company itself is one, this product is going to create that ‘market of shift of consumers’ very soon, which the company also presumes.

The product is referred by the boss of Apple, Tim Cook as ‘reinvent home audio’. Cook added, “We want to reinvent music in the home in the way we invented mobile music”. He also added “We really think it’s going to take your home music experience to the next level”.

Apple Homepod boasts of 360° audio and six microphones. It also includes the A8 chip and the digital hands-free assistant Siri. This product is made for music as in the words of Apple, which states “it automatically analyzes the acoustics, adjusts the sound based on the speaker’s location, and steers the music in the optimal direction.”

Other features of the HomePod Wireless Speaker involve the Siri tasks, like, setting reminders, performing unit conversions, checking traffic, and so on and so forth. Just say ‘Hey Siri’ to call up the digital voice assistant. This means that it not only makes you listen to clarity but also assists you in various different ways clearly.

The HomePod which is designed to work with the Apple Music Subscription service is found to tap the artificial intelligence power of Siri. Sources say that the speaker is the first new device by the Cupertino-based tech giant. There are plans by the company to make the ‘Siri voice assistant’ work with a lot many or various apps. The product looks 7 inches tall and is covered in fabric mesh. The colors in which it would appear would be white or grey.

The shipping is expected to happen in December to the United States, UK and Australia and priced at $349.
